I have a new website and blog which can be found here.  My website includes my portfolio and a shop where I will soon be selling some products with my designs on them.

Thank you for stopping by, please follow the link to pop over to my new blog.

I’ve had so many wonderful opportunities to have my work featured over recent weeks that I wanted to share some of them:

My ‘Morning Glory’ design was featured on the wonderful blog Do What You Love for Life here.

I was featured for a second time on the talented Rachael Taylor’s blog as part of The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design course’ module 2 showcase.

One of my lovely fellow students on The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design has kindly featured my work.  You can see the feature on Jennie’s blog at JLW Illustration.

I was also delighted to wake up this morning to an email that one of my designs is featured in the new online Surface Pattern Design Magazine called Moyo magazine.

This magazine has been lovingly put together by Rachael Taylor, Beth Nichols and their team.  It is filled with design eye-candy and I feel immensely honored to be in the first magazine.  My design is on page 18 along with the designs of some of my fellow students.

I’ve had so much fun with my design for this cushion design competition which can be seen here.  This is a fun, floral print in a bold, eye-catching colour palette that will brighten up any room. I have used a quirky, loose illustrative style for the design with an embroidered look for a fun, handmade, eclectic design.  This is a great competition as the winning designs will be sold in places like the Saatchi shop and Tate Modern so, if you like my design, please pop over and give me a ‘like’ or a ‘tweet’.

I’m so excited to see that one of my designs has been featured on Rachael Taylor’s blog as part of the The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design Module 1 showcase.

The design was created from a doodle sketch that I did while having some relaxing free-time after a long day at work.

The sketch was cleaned up and coloured in Photoshop and Illustrator to give me the final design:

I’ve recently entered the Brabantia Design Your Bin Competition.  Here is my entry, entitled ‘Confetti’.
